- Writing for radio
Dates of next course: November 7 and 14
3. Sound Engineering Course
This course gives you the skills to engineer live bands, for on-air broadcasts and at live gigs. It's free.
Date of next course: TBA
3. Tailored Courses
We’re often approached by organisations about training opportunities for their members or clients, and we’re happy to develop tailored courses for specific needs.
Possible elements could include:
- Planning and researching a programme
- Interviewing and presenting
- Sound editing using a computer
- Writing for radio
- Broadcast and related law
Often course participants make a 30-minute programme for broadcast on ICR, but that’s just one possibility.
If you have an idea, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to talk it through with you.
There is a fee for tailored courses, based on £25 per hour for a trainer, plus the cost of materials, room hire, etc.
For more details on any of the courses, contact Nick on Ipswich 418022 or e-mail
